Walsh has been one of the best defenders in the game for the last decade or so and played a huge part in Kilkenny’s domination during that period.
Tommy was restricted to a bit part role in the Kilkenny’s run to the All-Ireland title this season.
The Tullaroan man won nine All-Irelands, nine Leinster titles and nine All Stars award during his time with the Cats.
What a servant and what a player.
