A wonderful tribute.
As Anthony Foley’s funeral mass occurs at St Flannan’s church in Killaloe, thousands of Irish people around the country have been paying their respects by observing a moment of reflection and remembrance to the Munster and Ireland icon.
At midday, various Irish radio stations simultaneously played a version of The Fields of Athenry as a tribute to a man who has left us far too soon.
Have a listen.
