They had to return their campervan after running out of money, and now they’re looking for a way to get to the France game… oh, they’re in Luxembourg, by the way.
Shane O’Sullivan, Breandán and Darren Casey, all from Charleville in Cork, have run into a bit of bother on their Euro 2016 adventure.
The friends had been travelling in a campervan, having the time of their lives, but they had to return the vehicle to Düsseldorf, having run out of funds to continue the journey.
Their plan then was to thumb a lift from Düsseldorf to Lyon to catch the France match on Sunday, but it’s proving to be more of a challenging excursion than originally anticipated.
Still though, they seem to be in good spirits (sort of), judging by this post.
As you’ll have seen, the gang have an additional problem in that the man taking the photo, Shane, is currently ticketless for the last 16 clash, but they’ll look to sort that out when they arrive in Lyon.
Kick-off for Ireland’s biggest clash in years is at 2pm (Irish time) on Sunday, so we wish them the best of luck. We believe in them!
Cheers to Breandán Casey for sending this our way. If you have something you would like to share with us, send it to our WhatsApp number 087-4001102, editorial@JOE.ie or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter.
