VIDEO: Irish fans were having the craic while singing YMCA to the stadium stewards in London

There's no need to feel down

Paul Moore

There’s no need to feel down.

You couldn’t blame Ireland supporters for being in a happy mood after the recent win against Romania because the boys in green have done everything that has been asked of them so far as the crunch games with Italy and France loom large.

The Irish took over London yesterday and when our fans weren’t looking for some of our most famous faces or playing drunken rugby, they put on an excellent demonstration of how to have the craic with the stadium authorities.

I heard from a reliable source that when Joe Schmidt named his team, he says these comforting words to the younger players that didn’t make the starting XV,  “young man, pick yourself off the ground. I said, young man, ’cause you’re in a new town, there’s no need to be unhappy”.

Take a look at this video, it just makes you want to be there even more.

The singing didn’t stop there though, take a look at the size of that crowd!
