The long wait is over for the Cork side…
The county senior title is the holy grail for any club player across the country and the pride it brings to a community is something that’s very hard to put into words.
Cork club Ballincollig ended a 127 year wait for a first senior county title last month when they beat Carbery Rangers in the final at Pairc Ui Chaoimh. It was a very special day for everyone involved in the club and for one player in particular, former Cork footballer John Miskella.
Miskella has been playing with Ballincollig for 19 years and here he talks about how much winning it means to him.
