VIDEO: These two Irish girls Riverdanced their way to glory at the Ireland celebrations in Lille

Michael Flatley’s got nothing on these ladies…

The Tír na nÓg pub in Lille was the place to be last night, as thousands of delighted Irish fans gathered to celebrate Ireland’s most recent famous win against the Italians, all thanks to a superbly-crafted goal scored by the UNESCO World Heritage site that is Robbie Brady’s head.

Fans laughed together, they sang for each other, and everybody pretty much hugged anything that happened to be wearing some sort of shade of green.

The highlight of the celebrations, however, was the arrival of two ladies who turned up wearing full Irish dancing regalia and performed Riverdance – or some kind of version of it at least – for the delighted Green Army.

Riverdance ladies

There was some talk that Maria Foley from Kilkenny and Carol Keenan from Westmeath have 18 All-Ireland dancing titles between the pair of them, but those facts couldn’t be verified at the time of writing.

These clips are just brilliant, enjoy Riverdance for the Boys in Green…
