02 reveal iPhone 4 price plans

O2 have announced their price plans for Friday’s iPhone 4 launch - however, due to limited stock, O2 will offer the handset to existing customers only.

After rival mobile operators 3 and Vodafone had already shown their cards, O2 have announced their price plans for Friday’s iPhone 4 launch, but new purchasers beware – due to limited stock, O2 will offer the handset to existing customers only, on a first-come first-served basis.

The iPhone 4 is to be available on an 18-month contract for all price plans, with customers able to choose between the O2 Advance 150, 350, 550 and 700 plans, all of which include a range of free add-ons, such as increased voice, data or text allowances. 12-month contracts are also available for slightly more expensive fees.

Customers availing of the O2 Advance 150 plan receive free unlimited O2 to O2 calls, 150 minutes, 100 texts and 10 MMS messages. Under this plan, the device will cost €259 or €359 for the 16Gb or 32Gb respectively and €40 per month.

The €60 per month O2 Advance 350 plan includes 350 voice minutes, 150 texts and 15 MMS messages. The device will cost either €199 or €299 for the 16Gb or 32Gb device respectively under this plan.

Customers opting for the O2 Advance 550 plan shall receive 550 voice minutes, 250 texts and 25 MMS messages. Under this plan, the device will cost €149 or €249 for the 16Gb or 32Gb respectively and €80 per month.

Finally, both the 16GB and 32GB versions of the iPhone 4 will be available free under O2 Advance 700 plan. This option costs €100 per month and includes 700 voice minute, 350 texts and 35 MMS messages.

For the 350, 550, and 700 O2 Advance plans, customers can choose between free O2 to O2 calls, free any network evening weekend calls, free anything landline calls or 3GB of internet browsing data and tethering.
