Participants celebrate during the “Chupinazo” to mark the start at noon sharp of the San Fermin Festival on 6 July, 2010 in front of the Town Hall of Pamplona, northern Spain. The festival is a symbol of Spanish culture, despite heavy condemnation from animal rights groups, and attracts thousands of tourists to watch the bull runs.

JOE has been feeling like…taking someone by the scruff of the neck.

After speaking to a genuine white collar boxer all the staff in JOE Towers have been getting worked up and it has now been suggested that we hang a punch bag in the office. Otherwise, there could be fisty cuffs in here!

The story of Stephanie Slater, who was kidnapped in 1992 at the age of 25 by Michael Sams, and held in an improvised coffin. Having endured rape, torture and the tight confines of her chamber in the man’s workshop, she was released eight days later following the payment of a £175,000 ransom – a first in the UK. Her captor was subsequently tracked down and brought to justice, but some of the money was never recovered.
