Prompter failed to live up to his billing when a beaten favourite in the Investec Derby Trial at Epsom last month but he failed to handle the intricacies of the track on that occasion and is given another chance here.
Later, we’re looking to the three-year-old handicap at Wexford at 6.10. Jim Bolger’s Book of Numbers was a well-backed favourite for a 30-runner Curragh handicap last week and while he disappointed on that occasion, it would be no surprise to see him bounce back this evening.
The More Than Ready colt was a comfortable winner of his handicap debut at Leopardstown last month and is clearly expected to be better than his current mark of 77 if the vibes around his subsequent outing are to be believed.
