Pick of the night: Boozed Up Irish Abroad, TV3, 9.00pm.
Ok, so we’re very much behind the times with shows like these which have been aired on Sky 1 and the likes for years, however, this is always a good opportunity to spot somebody we may know making a complete idiot of themselves.
In this latest installment, college students find themselves at one of Hersonissos’s largest parties, where anything goes, the lads from Dublin head to Majorca on a pub crawl with more than 350 other people, and Maynooth residents attend a foam party in Magaluf.
Sporting highlight: Live Monday Night Football, Sky Sports 1 from 7.00pm.
Stoke City v Aston Villa (kick-off 8.00pm). Coverage of this evening’s Premier League clash at the Britannia Stadium. Villa’s previous away match this season finished in a 6-0 thrashing at the hands of Newcastle United, but they appointed a new manager last week, with former Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier being named as Martin O’Neill’s permanent successor. Stoke tasted defeat here in their only home league fixture so far, losing 2-1 in controversial fashion to Tottenham Hotspur.
