JOE just cannot get the World Cup off his mind at the minute. It’s everywhere you look. Most of us are still licking our wounds that Trap and the boys aren’t competing in South Africa, however, JOE Tube will lift your spirits today with a trip down memory lane and some light-hearted entertainment.
We bring you three World Cup songs, chosen for three very different reasons.
Topping the bill is ‘Put ‘Em Under Pressure’. Nothing comes close to the timeless tune for the Italia ’90 World Cup. Look at Packie Bonner’s face before kicking it out, pure venom!
This is Algeria’s song for the ’82 World Cup. It never made it to number one in JOE’s charts but we find the cameraman’s eccentricity hilarious. He’s got to be on some sort of chemical.
Finally, four minutes and 28 seconds of scantily clad girls bouncing around to something which vaguely resembles a song about some chap called Fabio.
