In horse racing, Johnny Murtagh will ride Cape Blanco in the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby, while Seamus Heffernan will partner Aidan O’Brien’s other main runner, Jan Vermeer.
And finally in World Cup jabber, Cesc Fabregas reckons the USA will reach the semi-final stage. “The best moment for me at the World Cup so far was that nail biting end when the USA scored in the last minute against Algeria. It was an incredible finale and was the most memorable one for me.
“They are in a good side of the draw now – they have Ghana next, then maybe Uruguay in the quarter-finals,†he predicted.
