Adam Sandler has been nominated for a whopping 11 nominations for this year’s ‘Razzles’ – a spoof Academy Awards which hands out prizes to bad actors.
Getting a nod for one nomination is a big achievement, but getting nominated for 11 must be an absolute honour. It’s a shame for Adam Sandler that the 11 awards he has been nominated for are in the Annual Golden Raspberry Awards and not the Oscars.
It’s bad enough that Sandler has been nominated for 11 awards, but that’s only made worse with the fact that 11 nominations is a record. The previous best ‘worst’ actor was Eddie Murphy who held the record for five nominations.
The awards ceremony takes place on April Fool’s Day – naturally.
