Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli is believed to be on his way to Manchester for a medical at Manchester City with a view to joining the club.
Roberto Mancini has targeted the striker he managed at Inter Milan for some time and Balotelli’s agent revealed on Thursday that a fee had been agreed between the two clubs.
Reports suggest that the transfer fee will be in the region of £24 million pounds for Balotelli, who turned 20 on Thursday and made his debut for the Italian national team against the Ivory Coast on Tuesday.
Roberto Mancini confirmed in a press conference on Friday morning that he is close to signing Balotelli and said: “I hope today or tomorrow we can close the deal.”
