It has been confirmed that striker Bebe has been included in Manchester United’s Uefa Champions League squad.

It was initially reported that the 20-year-old had been left out of Manchester United’s European squad, even though they had only included 24 players in their squad.

Uefa, however have confirmed that Bebe has been included, and will be available for selection for Manchester United’s opening match against Rangers.

Midfielder Owen Hargreaves has been excluded, however, and he is still recovering from two operations.

Bebe signed for Manchester United on 11 August for £7.4 million, less than two months after signing for Guimaraes on a free transfer.
