Antrim manager Liam Bradley believes his county can take down Tyrone in Sunday’s Ulster SFC quarter-final.
“What bigger scalp can you talk about than the opposition on Sunday?” said the Derryman of the upcoming clash.
“They are Ulster champions and if we can take that scalp, surely that will be enough for everybody. Look, we know our standing in the country at the moment. We’re classed as a second tier team.
“We’re playing the Ulster champions, they’re going to be strong opposition but it’s not something we’re afraid of. We feel we have a strong enough team if everybody plays to their highest level on the day. I think we can come out of it on the right side.”
Bradley believes Antrim suffered from a bout of nerves the last time the teams went up against each other – in last year’s Ulster final.
He continued, “The occasion itself probably got to a few players and the sad thing is that we have played in three finals (including the Division 3 and 4 NFL deciders) in the last two years and lost the three of them.â€
