The lads from the ‘Trinitones’ have released their version of Wheatus’ ‘Teenage Dirtbag’ and in fairness it’s pretty good. Have a gander above.
One of the most iconic tunes from the summer of 2000 was Wheatus’ ‘Teenage Dirtbag’, so it’s no surprise that the Trinitones have decided to put their barbershop-esque mark on the track.
The video was uploaded onto YouTube on February 17 and it has already knocked up over 11,000 hits (and counting). It’s a pretty good effort but we can’t decide whether it’s absolutely brilliant, or just a little bit too cringey. It’s not the first time the lads belted out the track as they ‘flash mobbed’ a Luas back in September of last year (see below).
It does have some Glee undertones, which is a bit off putting, but it’s still pretty good. Let us know what you think in the comment section below.
