Calling all prospective entrepreneurs; Wexford is hosting the next AIB Start-Up Academy event

An Entrepreneur's dreamland

Colm Boohig

Get yourself to Wexford on Wednesday evening.

The hugely successful AIB Start-Up Academy is now in its second year and the next stop of the nationwide tour is in Wexford on Wednesday, September 30.

The event kicks off at 6.30pm in The Sky & The Ground Bar, so be sure to register here and secure yourself a place at one of Ireland’s best networking events.

Why should you do this? Well, if you’re thinking about starting your own business then you’ll be hearing directly from some incredibly esteemed and experienced entrepreneurs.

One such example will be Michael Kelly, founder of Grow It Yourself International (GIY). Michael is a food and health writer, having penned three books on the subject. As well as being a passionate speaker on food and self-sufficiency, Michael is a Social Entrepreneurs Ireland awardee and received the first ever Arthur Guinness Fund in 2010.

Michael will be joined by Kevin Dundon – Irish celebrity chef and author. Kevin will be talking about his business Dunbrody Country House Hotel, in Wexford, which also houses the Dunbrody Cookery School.

As well as receiving some invaluable advice from industry experts, you will get the chance to listen to three budding Irish entrepreneurs who will be sharing their business ideas and valuable experience on the night. The three entrepreneurs are sisters Karen and Natalie Keane from Bean & Goose, Christine Meehan from The Natural Health Store and Ann-Marie Carter-Stuart from Stuart Design Studio.
