Chelsea grabbed a crucial away goal as they came away from Istanbul with a 1-1 draw in the Champions League last 16 on Wednesday night.
Fernando Torres scored his sixth goal in five European starts from Cesar Azpilicueta’s cross to give Jose Mourinho’s side the lead against Didier Drogba and co.

Unfortunately for the Blues, they couldn’t hold their lead and Aurelien Chedjou was on hand to equalise in the 64th minute.

Chelsea now go into the second leg at Stamford Bridge with a slender advantage, given Torres’s away goal, and are the only English side to have scored in the Champions League knockout stages so far.
Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United all drew blanks in their opening ties.
