Connacht Rugby have announced the signing of Ezra Taylor from Super 14 side the Queensland Reds.
Taylor usually plays at number eight or flanker, but can also play second row if needed.
The 27-year-old former New Zealand Schools and under-19 international joins fellow Kiwis Troy Nathan, Miah Nikora and Bernie Upton at the Irish province.
He was presented by coach Tim Allnutt in a Connacht jersey at the Sportsground in Galway today.
Taylor began his professional career at New Zealand club Otago, before impressing enough to be signed by the Highlanders in 2007.
He suffered a career threatening injury in 2008, before rebuilding his career last season with the Queensland Reds.
