After months of speculation, the iPhone 4 is finally going on sale this Friday, July 30 to Irish customers, with Apple having just announced the suggested retail price for the contract-free model – starting from €599.
The 16GB iPhone 4 without contract is expected to reach retail for €599 (inc VAT), whilst the 32GB model will cost consumers €699 (inc VAT). Price plans from mobile operators O2, Vodafone and 3 are expected to be announced later this week.
In addition to Ireland, the iPhone 4 hits 16 other countries on July 30, including Italy, Spain and Australia. Sadly the ‘White iPhone 4’ model will not be launched on Friday as it has been delayed due to manufacturing concerns.
Despite a fairly rocky reception, the iPhone 4 has sold over 3 million units since it’s key market launch on 24 July.
