Both Cork and Limerick have announced their starting line-ups for Sunday’s Munster Championship semi-final clash at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

On the back of their exceptional victory over Tipperary last month, combined with Limerick’s player struggles over the winter months, Cork go into the game as 1/100 favourites with the bookmakers.

Leesiders manager Denis Walsh will send the same side into battle on Sunday afternoon whereas under-pressure Limerick chief Justin McCarthy has been forced to name nine championship debutants.

Backs Dave Breen and Paul Browne and centre forward Paudie McNamara are the only survivors from the side which plunged to a heavy All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Tipperary last August.

Goalkeeper Tadhg Flynn is the only one of the starting 15 to have played against Cork in a Munster championship encounter – and that wasn’t even for Limerick. He represented Kerry against the Leesiders six years ago.
