This police community support officer over in the UK decided to make a short video on how easy it is to steal a bike and how likely people are to report it.
PCSO Neil Spiring took some time off of his regular duties to make this video and we have to say, it packs a few surprises. Firstly Neil starts off with a normal sized bolt cutter and then moves up to a slightly bigger one – in fact, it’s massive.
Spiring then just walks up to a set of bike racks, cuts a certain bike’s lock and then strolls off with the bike without anyone saying a word. It’s pretty shocking to see just how easy he gets away with it and even worse that not one single person reported any of the thefts.
So just be extra careful if you park your bike out on the street and make sure to report bike theft if you see it happening.
