Seeing as we’re not gun nuts here in Ireland, we wouldn’t know the best way to test out a new bulletproof vest. But we don’t think you should do it like this guy.
When you buy something new you’re obviously going to want to try it out straight away. Like when you buy a new car, or when you buy the wife a new washing machine, it all has to be given a test run first.
That’s exactly how this American felt about his new bulletproof vest. The bloke in the video above decided that popping a round into his stomach at point blank range would be the best testing ground for his new piece of kit.
We wonder why he didn’t just prop it up against something and let a few rounds fly. And surely he has compromised the safety of his vest by blasting a round into it? Like we said, we’re not into guns.
As you can probably guess by now, if you haven’t watched the video that is, the guy survives the shot – with thanks obviously going to his vest.
So if you bought a bulletproof vest recently and you’re dying to test it out, just take it from this guy that it works.
