Graeme Dott leads Mark Selby 5-3 after the first session of their Betfred World Snooker Championship semi-final at the Crucible on Thursday night.
Following Selby’s defeat of World number one Ronnie O’Sullivan in the quarter-finals, ‘the Jester’ from Leicester has been installed as the favourite to win the championship. However, Dott has other ideas and holds a two-frame advantage going into the second session on Friday afternoon.
Meanwhile, Neil Robertson is 6-2 up on Ali Carter in the other semi-final. They will resume play at 10.00am on Friday.
