Perhaps this flamboyant need for expression in the shape of terribly constructed suits is due to the many surgical procedures he has put his once devilishly handsome face through, with nights spent in the infamous LA Viper room also taking a toll.

Not to mention his get up for the 2009 Vanity Fair Oscar Party – white cowboy hat, dip-dyed white embroidered blazer, frayed-boot-cut-faded jeans and enough fake tan to make a playboy bunny look anaemic.
Don’t get me wrong, there is a certain je ne sais quoi to the immensely respected Mr Rourke which guarantees that despite the numerous wardrobe disasters, he still has the most beautiful women adorning his arm. However, he seriously needs to have a sit down with his stylist and tailor.
