Dublin manager Pat Gilroy has restored Paddy Andrews to his panel for the forthcoming Leinster SFC campaign.
Andrews, who has played in defence and attack for the Dubs, had been omitted from Gilroy’s panel last month.
That decision was seen as a surprise, as Andrews is regarded as one of the county’s most promising players, having captained DCU to O’Byrne and Sigerson Cup titles earlier this year.
But the St Brigid’s clubman, who failed to play any part in the National Football League campaign, has returned to the squad ahead of the Leinster SFC opener against Wexford on Sunday week.
