Republic of Ireland defender Shane Duffy is back on his feet following a life-threatening injury last Friday.
Duffy, who is currently in the Mater Hospital in Dublin, continues to make a steady recovery from life-saving surgery on his liver.
Giovanni Trappatoni, Marco Tardelli and Robbie Keane visited the 18-year-old Everton player in hospital yesterday and astonishingly Duffy was able to walk with his visitors.
It is expected that Duffy will be discharged from hospital this weekend as originally planned.
Duffy sustained the injury after colliding with Irish Amateur goalkeeper Adrian Walsh in a training match with the international squad last Friday.
