The only time that half eaten food is worth anything is when it looks like someone famous. Here are five foods that look like famous people.

Earlier in the week we brought you the news of a McDonalds chicken nugget that sold for over $8,000 because it looks a bit like George Washington. So, in the name of the finger lickin’ Founding Father, here are five foods that look like famous people.

George Washington

It wouldn’t be fair to start things off without mentioning the man that, well… the man that started us off. The Washington McNugget had been sitting in a freezer for nearly three years before it was sold for $8,100 on eBay. However, when you flip the nugget over it actually looks more like Ireland. Don’t believe us? Check it out here.

George Hook

Here we see why George Hook is nicknamed ‘The Hookie Monster’. It’s not because his name is a playful play on words with the Sesame Street character ‘The Cookie Monster’. No, he’s called it because he looks a bit like a cookie. That’s certainly one cookie that would take a bite out of you first…

Richard Nixon

Here we have the infamous Nixon-eggplant. We’ve never come across a vegetable that resembles a famous person better than the Nixon-eggplant. Okay, so it only looks like him because of the outrageous nose, but it’s close enough.

Jesus H. Christ

The Christian saviour seems to pop up from time to time in various types of edibles. Mostly in America, and mostly in the form of some sort of greasy fried food. This time is no different as Jesus appeared in this person’s burnt pancake. We’re always a bit wary of people trying to make a quick buck off their Jesus-shaped food, but the image here is uncanny.

Jerry Collins

Jerry Collins was one of the greatest New Zealand rugby players of all time. The wing-forward held the All-Blacks captaincy on many occasions and his hard hitting tackles earned him a multitude of nicknames over the years.

However, when Jerry had the All-Blacks jersey on and the top of his head bleached blonde, he looked less like the mean-machine and more like a pint of Guinness.
