Fart joke causes bomb scare in junior college

When you’re in the States, you have to be really careful not to mention the word bomb, even if you’ve taken the greatest fart of your life.

Have you ever taken a fart worthy of being called a bomb? Well, in the States, it might just cause 11 emergency agencies to respond to your school because of a bomb scare.

That’s what happened to 19-year-old Harold Wayne Hadley, Jr. who was arrested at his junior college in Mississippi after he allegedly wrote a note on a piece of paper which contained the word ‘bomb’.

However, Hadley’s family remains persistent that he was only explaining how wonderful he felt after ‘passing gas in the library’.

“He was in the restroom doodling on some toilet paper … we are from the country, and he calls passing gas, bombs,” said Hadley’s aunt, who wanted to remain nameless – which is understandable.

“[He] put ‘I passed a bomb in the library,’ talking about passing gas, and somebody came in and found it, gave it to a teacher that recognised his hand writing and it blew all out of proportion.”

Young Hadley is now being held on $20,000 bail, and if he’s convicted of trying to blow up his school he could face up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Bet that’s the last time he drops a dirty bomb in a public place.
