Female hospital staff have been told by the HSE to stop dressing provocatively otherwise they could face the sack. Could this be the end of sexy nurses?
One of the only benefits of going to hospital is the sexy female staff. There’s nothing that makes a crappy day in a hospital bed slightly brighter than seeing a gorgeous nurse standing in front of you as your IV drip is changed (or your bed pan for that matter). However, low cut tops and excess cleavage will soon be a thing of the past if the HSE has anything to do with it.
A 10-page document was issued to all staff at the Mid-West Regional, Regional Maternity, Nenagh general, Ennis general and the Croom Orthopaedic hospital outlining what was appropriate to wear and what was not.
The list included:
No backless tops or dresses that reveal “excessive cleavage” or the midriff.
No halter-neck tops.
No skin-tight clothing.
No micro-skirts or very short mini-skirts.
No low cut dresses or short tops or short T-shirts.
Clothing isn’t the only thing to be disapproved by the HSE. Tattoos have also been put on the no-no list, as they can be deemed “provocative”, so if a female hospital worker has one she’ll have to cover it up in work.
So, take a good hard look at the image below, because you’ll never see a girl like her in an Irish hospital ever again (not that you ever did, but it’s a good excuse to show you a picture of a sexy nurse).
