If you’re a bit of a petrol head and you’re not doing anything this weekend then why not check out the first ever Wexford Motor Show?
Wexford’s motor dealers will hold the first Wexford motor show this Saturday April 21 on the town’s Quay front, between Wexford bridge and Crescent Quay. If you’re not familiar with the area then you can check out directions here.
This fun event is family friendly and best of all, free. Yes, free – which is a welcome surprise in this day and age. The show will feature 17 Franchise dealers and 24 brands, as well as a large contingent from the local Sports and Classic Car Club. So at least you know there will be loads of cool cars to look at and not just some awl lad with a beat-up Bentley.
Overall, the show will feature 120 brand spanking new cars and around 150 old classics. The Road Safety authority will provide their Road Show Vehicle and a roll over simulator – which is an amazing piece of kit – as part of a Road Safety Awareness campaign on the day.
It sounds like a great day out and it’s nice to see the local car dealers working together instead of being at each others throats like every other day of the year.
The show will run from 9am to 6pm and there’s loads of stuff for the kids to do as well (face painting and the likes).
