How would you like to own a very rare Mach 1 Ford Mustang GT500? What if we said it comes complete with Angelina Jolie’s ass groove?
Well if the above sounds like your sort of thing, then you’re in luck as one of the cars used on the set of Gone in 60 Seconds is being put up for auction. The car is lovingly named Eleanor (after the original Mustang form the original movie) and it was one of twelve cars built for the movie by custom car supremo’s Steve Stanford and Chip Foose.
Only seven cars remain and of those seven, only three actually had Angelina Jolie and Nick Cage as passengers (but we don’t really care about Nick Cage. If anything, his ass groove devalues the car).
Now, we know what you’re thinking. Cars that actors use are never any good because insurance companies are afraid something might go wrong. Well, evidently, that wasn’t the case on the set of Gone in 60 Seconds.
According to the guys at Top Gear, the tuned replica ‘67 had its 4.7-litre V8 replaced with a 5.7-litre Ford Racing crate motor. This features a big-lobed camshaft and a 700 cfm (cubic feet per minute) Holley four-barrel carburettor (the big bulky thing that sticks out of the hood). The car also has lowered coil-over front suspension, Willwood brake disks on all four wheels, side exhausts and a Fuel-Safe racing tank.

Also included in the car is the “Go Baby Go” switch on the gear lever. Sadly, it’s only for show
So, how many zeros will you have to write down to pick up this beauty at auction? Well according to Coys Auction house, bidding will start at €120,000 on January 14 at the Autosport International show in Birmingham.
A bit pricy for a sniff of Angelina’s rear-end.
