Birmingham City have completed a £6 million transfer for Manchester United third-choice goalkeeper Ben Foster today.
Foster passed a medical and agreed terms to make his expected switch to the Blues.
The England international will replace fellow countryman, Joe Hart, who returns to Manchester City after a season-long loan.
Foster is unlikely to be included in the final England squad to travel to the World Cup in South Africa despite being given a number of opportunities by coach Fabio Capello to become the number one choice.
Manchester United will call up England Under-21 international, Ben Amos, to the senior ranks as third choice ‘keeper.
