Kerry manager Jack O’Connor has suggested that Paul Galvin will start from the bench in Sunday’s Munster SFC semi-final replay against Cork.
Galvin made a major impact in the drawn match in Killarney last Sunday after coming off the bench midway through the second half.
Galvin’s ankle injury is not the greatest concern for his fitness following the revelation that the Footballer of the Year contracted tonsillitis.
“The problem with Paul is that the ankle wasn’t his biggest problem,” O’Connor said.
“We were hoping to try out the ankle during the week but he picked up tonsillitis.”
