How many times have you found yourself trying desperately to use ‘The Force’ just to change the TV channel because the remote is too far away? Well, now you can…

Okay, so we know what we want for Christmas this year. The MYO is a ‘wearable gesture control’ device that tracks your arm movement and allows you to control things from a distance. Check out the video above to see exactly how it works.

MYO say a little bit more about the device on their website: “With the wave of your hand, MYO will transform how you interact with your digital world.

“The MYO armband lets you use the electrical activity in your muscles to wirelessly control your computer, phone, and other favourite digital technologies.

“Using ground-breaking technology, MYO is able to measure electrical activity in your muscles instantly.

“The result is a seamless way to interact with computers, and a truly magical sense of control.”

There does seem to be a problem though. We’ve been throwing money at our computer screens for the past ten minutes and we still haven’t received anything. Ah well, looks like we’ll just have to wait until shipping begins in late 2013.

You’re probably wondering about the price. It’s going to cost a bomb, right? Wrong. It’s only $149, which is roughly €114. Sign us up…
