Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal all recorded wins during Saturday’s pre-season friendly clashes.
Suso and Kristoffer Peterson were on the scoresheet as Liverpool beat Preston 2-1 at Deepdale.
The one sour note for Brendan Rodgers was an injury to summer signing Emre Can, who had to come off 20 minutes into the game to be replaced by Jordan Ibe, who made both of Liverpool’s goals here…
Chelsea, meanwhile, came from 2-0 down to beat AFC Wimbledon 3-2 thanks to two John Terry strikes and one from Mohamed Salah in Surrey.
Finally, goals from Kristoffer Olsson and Benik Afobe gave Arsenal a 2-0 win over Boreham Wood.
