Are you enjoying the good weather? Well it’s going to last for the rest of the week.

Currently Ireland is enjoying a glorious heat wave that has seen this beautiful Emerald Isle coming in hotter than most holiday resorts. Ireland was even hotter than the home of the pyramids as parts of Egypt only reached 24C yesterday.

The average temperature across the country yesterday was a toasty 26C, which came close to Friday’s almost record-breaking temperature. A weather station in Ardfert, Co Kerry, almost hit the country’s all-time May record of 28.4C when it reached 28.3C. Sure there’s still a chance this week.

According to the Irish Independent, the heatwave will continue into the June bank holiday so we’ll be able to enjoy the Bavaria City Racing, or whatever you decide to do, in the glorious sun.

According to Met Éireann’s 5-day weather forecast, Cork might see a light splash of rain later today and Dublin might see a bit of cloud on Wednesday afternoon. Apart from that, you can enjoy the clear skies and the lovely weather for the coming week.
