Sligo’s football star David Kelly and Galway hurler Damien Hayes have been named as Opel GPA Players of the Month for June.
Kelly helped Sligo to a win over Mayo and a draw with Galway in June, and chipped in with a further goal in his side’s victory over the Galway men last weekend.
Hayes, meanwhile, built on his star performance in the final of the National Hurling League with fine performances in two Leinster SHC matches against Offaly.
