It might sound like some sort of crazed World War II re-enactment, but a male Neo-Nazi politician in Greece actually punched a female communist politician on live TV. That’s one way to lose some votes.
Here we have a video that’s currently doing the rounds on YouTube, which shows the far right Golden Dawn party member Ilias Kasidiaris punching, slapping and throwing water at fellow politicians while on a live TV debate.
The neo-Nazi threw water at Syriza deputy Rena Dourou, before slapping and punching Communist Party deputy Liana Kanelli in the face, repeatedly.
Apparently, Kasidiaris threw the water at Ms Dourou after she brought up his alleged involvement in a mugging case five years ago. He then flipped out at the Communist Party deputy Ms Kanelli after she criticised him for throwing the water – plus the fact that she’s a communist probably didn’t help her case.
According to Greek media, a prosecutor has called for Kasidiaris to be arrested for bodily assault, so it will be interesting to see what his punishment is.
What a real scumbag.
