Injury ravaged England international Owen Hargreaves has been named in Manchester United’s 25 man squad for the Premier League.
Hargreaves has only played 30 seconds of football for United since 2008, and is still undergoing treatment in the United States for tendonitis.
The Canadian born midfielder has only played 23 league appearances for the Red Devils since joining in 2007.
The inclusion of Hargreaves hasn’t mean the exclusion of any other players, however, as new Premier League rules mean under 21s do not need to be included.
As such, all of Manchester United’s current squad are eligible to play in the Premier League.
