The account we are led to believe was hacked, rather than a disgruntled employee calling for a change at the helm.

David Moyes was under no illusions of the task ahead of him when he stepped into Fergie’s shoes, but the past week has been nothing short of a disaster. Everton claimed their first win in 21 years at Old Trafford on Wednesday night, while Newcastle claimed their first win on United’s turf since 1972 with this strike from Yohan Cabaye.

The Premier League champions find themselves in ninth position are the same distance from table-toppers Arsenal as they are from second-from-bottom Fulham.

The pressure is mounting and the official club Twitter account Tweeted #MoyesOut yesterday morning, even before the disappointing defeat to the Magpies. The tweet was soon deleted after the account was hacked, but not before it was quickly picked up and screen grabbed.

Hat-tip to Conal O’Sullivan for sending this our way.

Not a great time for Moyes at the moment, fresh on the heels of Wilfried Zaha taking to social media to confirm he is not in a relationship with the manager’s teenage daughter.

It never rains, but pours.
