Here at JOE we love technology and we love our cars too. So what better than to mix the two together like this guy did.
We’re not sure of the guy’s real name, but YouTuber chadsmith20 has posted what is easily the most jealousy educing video ever seen by a racing gamer. Five screens in Chad’s basement gives him a wrap around view of the inside of a racing car’s cockpit.
Chad doesn’t use Forza or GranTurismo – ‘cause they’re for girls. No, Chad uses the ultra realistic iRacing, reports Jalopnik. F1 and NASCAR drivers regularly use the iRacing simulator to hone in on their skills. His GoPro camera is attached to his head to give us the best vantage point and the view really is something special.
In the video above we see Chad as he races on the famous Mid-Ohio racing track in a Ford GT. He goes into a corner too fast and manages to hit two other drivers off the course. All three were vying for first so you can bet the two lads were pretty pissed off. Chad said on his YouTube page that he feels sorry for the guys, but in our opinion, taking out two guys on one corner to gain pole position is something you shouldn’t be sorry for. He who dares… and all that.
Anyway, look in awe at the wondrous set up Chad has built for himself.
