Serie A giants Inter Milan and Juventus are reported to be interested in signing Celtic midfielder Scott Brown.
Brown, 25, signed for Celtic from Hibernian in the summer of 2007 and has become an integral part of the Hoops midfield since. His performances were recognised when he was voted the SPFA Player’s player of the year for the 2008/09 season. Brown has been capped 21 times for Scotland and has scored two goals.
Inter boss Rafa Benitez and Juventus manager Luigi Del Niri are said to be fans of Brown’s box to box style and according to reports in the Italian media, both are weighing up bids for the player in January.
Brown is the current Celtic captain and would be a massive loss to the Hoops as new manager Neil Lennon attempts to regain the SPL title from bitter rivals Rangers, who have won the league for the last two seasons.
