Manchester City midfielder Stephen Ireland may be on his way out of the club this summer following a poor season and lack of regular first-team football.
Ireland has only started 11 games under manager Roberto Mancini and a disastrous season can be attributed to injury and loss of form.
The former Republic of Ireland international has admitted that his time at the club may be coming to an end but that the decision would not be up to him.
Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Ireland said; “There is a question mark over next year for me.
“I don’t know what will happen. I am contracted to City and all I can do is carry on doing my job and performing well when I am called upon.
“If anything changes during the summer it will be down to the club, not me.”
