England Rugby Football Union have arranged test matches against Wales and Ireland ahead of their 2011 World Cup campaign.

England’s friendly against Ireland will take place on 27 August 2011 in the Aviva stadium.

England will play Wales twice. The first will take place on 6 August 2011 in the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff, and the second on 13 August in Twickenham.

“It is going to be tight but with Argentina as the first game of the World Cup we felt we needed a game two weeks before, not three weeks before,” England manager Martin Johnson said.

England have also arranged for test-matches against New Zealand, Australia, Samoa and South Africa this November.
