UK golfer Simon Khan rallied late on to secure a shock win at the PGA Championship at Wentworth.
The 37-year-old, who produced a final round of 66, is ranked 471th in the world and was a late invite to the tournament.

Some 25,000 fans turned out for the final day of the tournament, which Khan started seven shots off the lead in a share of 13th.

Khan was runner-up in the event four years ago got off to a flying start when a 15-foot effort dropped in for a birdie.

Padraig Harrington had been expected to feature, starting the final day five shots off the pace. However, he failed to challenge for the title.

The title was the second in Khan’s pro career which began in 1991. “It’s what I’ve always dreamed of doing,” said Khan of his triumph.
