Leinster gave their fans an early scare in their Magners League clash against Edinburgh, going down 14-0 in the first 15 minutes, before beating the visitors 37-28.

Edinburgh had never beaten Leinster in the RDS and with Leinster starting the day on top of the Magner’s League, many felt a Leinster victory and a home semi-final fixture was all but guaranteed.

However, nobody told Edinburgh who started brightly, with two converted tries in quick succession.

Leinster however, kept their composure and began to rack up the points as the game went on. Leinster’s stand-in kicker Nacewa was bang on form and finished the game with a 100 per cent record.

The result means Leinster will be playing against Munster in their semi-final clash, after they managed to secure a bonus point after going down by 13-12 against Cardiff.
