Portsmouth midfielder Kevin Prince-Boateng is set to complete a move to Italian giants AC Milan, according to reports.
The 23-year-old German born Ghanaian international is set to move to Genoa for £5million, before being loaned immediately to AC Milan for a season.
“I’m coming to Italy. For me it is a dream come true,” Boateng told German newspaper Bild before travelling to Italy to complete the move.
The loan deal is likely to include a buy-out clause, so he may end up joining AC Milan permanently following the completion of the loan.
Boateng had a terrific World Cup, and came out of Portsmouth’s disastrous 2009/2010 season with a lot of credit.
