Manchester City have released a statement confirming that Martin Petrov, Sylvinho and Benjani have been released from duty at the club.
The three players are all out of contract and are free to negotiate deals at new clubs.
The statement read, “Each has made a noteworthy contribution during their time at the City of Manchester Stadium and the club wishes them well in their futures.â€
Also released from duty at the City of Manchester Stadium this summer are young striker Jack Redshaw who has attracted interest from Rochdale, goalkeeper Tobias Johansen and midfielder Karl Moore.
